Get ready for ANOTHER night of laughter at The Five Bells! On Saturday 10th May 2025, we’re thrilled to welcome back stand-up comedian Tom Glover as the host for our stand up comedy night! Known for his quick wit, seamless crowd interactions, and brilliant ad-libbed jokes, Tom has an excellent Ed Fringe Review for his “perfect” crowd work and his ability to paint vivid mental pictures that keep audiences laughing all night.
Tom will be joined by Rich Wilson who will be opening the show, followed by Hayley Ashton, and Spencer Jones as your headliner with a bonus appearance from Will Adamsdale.
The Pub will be open from 2pm – 5.30pm. We will then be closing the pub between 5.30pm-6.30pm to set the pub up for the comedy night. The pub will reopen at 6.30pm.
Food van – Smoker & The Bandit (Smoked meats, burgers and pulled pork) will be serving from 4pm.

Initially the pub will NOT be serving food, we will aim to have as many local food vans as possible to serve you up some delicious grub! Updates on this will be posted on our social media platforms, please also check these platforms for opening times as they may vary depending on volunteer availability. Please note that we do not take bookings, food is currently served from local food vans that can be enjoyed in the pub or the garden.
