  • How much time do I need to commit?

There is no minimum, or maximum amount of time we expect our volunteers to give. As little as 2 hours per month is greatly appreciated, even half an hour gardening is brilliant!

  • Will I get any training before I start?

We offer induction sessions and training sessions to all new volunteers. This is usually held on your first shift, and will be conducted by a team leader.

  • Can I choose my volunteering schedule?

We are very flexible on schedules for volunteers. We have a number of ways we coordinate shifts, including whatsapp groups and google sheets. The only thing we ask is that you show up for your shift if you’ve signed up for one. If you can no longer make your shift, please make sure to find a replacement.

  • Are there age restrictions for volunteering?

We require all volunteers to be at least 18 years of age to work behind the bar. We do have jobs that need doing that are not behind the bar, for example lawn maintenance, and gardening. Get in touch with us to find out more.

  • Who will I be working with?

The people you work with will change on a shift by shift basis.
